Despertar is a table lamp for indoor use. The project was developed to be easily executable. Its dome was designed to be 3D printed and its to be laser cut. This project was conceived to be distributed on open source based online platforms. The word "despertar" in Portuguese means to wake up, and that's exactly the idea of the product: to make something simple for people who are starting to learn 3D printing and laser cutting. The inspiration for the project came mainly from the shape of the human eye, which is evident in the top view of the product.
The project was made in group as a subject of the University of Brasilia.
